Description: Our vision for Base Philadelphia is to create the kind of Jewish home that becomes part of the fabric of people’s lives and helps them live lives of even more connection, joy, and purpose. We want Base to be a place where emerging adults in their 20s and 30s find friends, deep Jewish learning, joyful Shabbat and holiday celebrations, pastoral support, and a genuine sense of belonging during one of the most formative stages of adulthood. Philadelphia is where both of our families began building their lives in America. Together, our families’ stories reflect many of the themes we hope to cultivate through Base: rootedness, hospitality, and community.
